Important Next Steps

STEP 1:

We manage all our events using two Meetup.com groups, one for hiking events and one for climbing events. You’ll need to set up a Meetup.com account and request access to our private groups.

IMPORTANT MUST READ: When you sign up for your Meetup.com account, you do not need to purchase their additional "Meetup+" membership to participate in our Club events. Look for the word "SKIP" when joining Meetup.com to move past any attempted payment windows and don't sign up for any "free trials". Unfortunately, we do not have a way to disable the "Meetup+" functionality for our members on the Meetup.com website. We apologize for this frustration.

NEXT STEPS:

  1. Create your Meetup.com account

  2. Request to join our HIKING Meetup.com group to see hiking events

  3. Request to join our CLIMBING Meetup.com group to see climbing events (requires payment of additional $20 climbing fee)

  4. We manually verify and approve each join request, so please allow 1-3 days. If you have any questions, please email us at nmmtclub@gmail.com.

Before Your First Hike!

Members participating in the Hike Section are encouraged to read our documentation to understand how events are managed, what to bring and what is expected of you.

Before Your First Climb!

Members participating in the Climb Section are encouraged to read the Climb Section’s Policies & Procedures to ensure events run safely, smoothly and efficiently.
