Sandia Closure Details

This closure is in place due to active use of heavy equipment within the area, which will create hazardous conditions. For your safety, please respect closure signs and stay out of the restricted area. Individuals entering the closure boundary are subject to fines of up to $5,000.

Expected Closure Duration
The closure will be in effect from April 30, 2026 at 6:00 AM through January 15, 2027 at 6:00 AM, or until it is officially lifted.
